Planet and Sphinx are good if you wanna go for FLs and bring them up for karaoke and not join the disco. Varying prices for different rooms too.

Best Massage: Sports Massage Center near Mandrian.

Was there yesterday, 65000 Rup for 1 hour, pure massage only, not really much of privacy, the beds are parted by curtains. However, I believe there is a spa up on hte 3rd floor, must try it out some day.

Overall, clean and nice place.

My belief is that weekdays and weekend / eve of public hols are different.

Both times I went in when weekdays - all the ladies free entry. I saw some men paying but funnily enough, nobody stopped me from just walking in. Maybe they recognise the people who they know drink?

Karaoke room charges are 200k per hr for non balcony ones and 300k for those with balconies.

It's bright here so you don't need a karaoke room to look at the ladies as compared with Planet where the Karaoke room serves it's additional purpose for having a decent look at the girls.

I understand that some people get the gals to strip in the Karaoke rooms in Planet for a fee! (as arranged with the Mami's there!) This different from the "nude dancers" from Manado at Ozone on the hill and Sphinx!

Anyway I think they don't ask if you drink or not loh, just don't go there wearing very sloppy ( eg. slippers, bermudas ) then they will not ask you for much. Assumption only though :p heheh

Didn't get chance to do the deed. Made the change less than 1 hr after booking.

They didn't even asked if I had bonked her. I guess its all on a case by case basis, e.g. track record of the girl, time of exchange, etc. Heard from some of the girls that some of the other places are not so exchange friendly.

Girl/customer problem is not that uncommon in places like Hollywood, particularly with the pretty girls. Most of these girls are quite new to the game, so not so professional as the girls in Jakarta. Looks like Hollywood has a more customer oriented approach to complaints.

I don't usually bother with an exchange, but had tried another girl & knew she was available, so took trouble to go back for an exchange.

I have not tried Batu Besar nor Barelang area which I heard is very good.

However, I went to Riverside at Punggur and belive me, it's very good. Make sure you tell them not to pay commission to taxi and you will have really good food at reasonable prices too. They keep the live-stuff in the cages in the sea and you just pick what you want!

Sensasi is sometimes good and sometimes not so good like most booking places in Batam.

You do need to go early esp on weekends and holiday timings! Don't forget the regulars book in advance by telephone with the regular nice ceweks and mamis also know what they want for the new gals joining the places. Regs always do better.

Hey bro moonface, I was in Jkt 2 weekends ago, but on very short trip so didn’t call you.
Anyway, if we are talking about Btm ceweks, and if people like you who’s used to the Jkt standard, then most of them in Btm you will rate as CMI.
Not too long ago when I got guest from Jkt visiting Btm, I had hell of a time getting ceweks for them. They keep comparing the Btm joint’s cewek or even the FLs in the disco, with those they had in Jkt. Even if they are willing to pay Jkt price (referring to those KTV girls in 1001, GC, Manhattan), it’s almost impossible to find one in Btm.

Just back late last night from Batam - another working trip with fun of course!

Make sure the Mami / OKT know your specs and match you up with the right ones from their place. The likelihood is that the girl(s) that you want are not there when you are visiting then because they are already working.
Batam is so busy nowadays not only weekends!

Keep a diary (hide it from the wifey) of the recommended top girls that are in your specs and book in advance before you go next time. If the OKT / Mami does not match you right or gives you rubbbish recommendations, make sure she gets feedback so it won't repeat itself.

Oh ya, now I remember about this pungur seafood place. It’s certainly the BEST in Btm. It’s very near to the domestic jetty which service Btm and Bintan/Tg Pinang. Once you passed the domestic jetty, it’s on the 1st track on your left in going a bit down hill. This place is actually known as Ah Kow seafood, but I think not many taxi drivers know how to get there.

Some of their specialties are like the “ham piow” (scallop) cooked with Chinese wine, steam prawns with lots of garlic, but my favorite dish there is their steam fish. It’s the way they steam it, so perfectly done that the meat are so tender and juicy. The main difference which makes them BEST seafood in Btm is their very own special Teochew style of cooking.

At one stage, when they were having more and more clients, they actually started charging Sg prices.
So who wants to drive all the way to Pungur to have expensive seafood, maybe their few regulars or some new kakis who were brought there either by taxi drivers or after reading this posting and wants to give it a try.
BTW, my last meal there was something like 2-3yrs ago, shall check it out again in the near future and provide another update here, that is if you kakis here are interested in Ah Kow’s “HUM” piow, apart from the Nagoya’s “hum”:D

SINGAPOREANS are fuelling the sex trade in Batam.

They account for seven or eight out of every 10 men who go to the Riau island - an hour's ride away by ferry - for a sex romp, according to a non-governmental organisation that helps sex workers there.

Most of these Singaporeans are Chinese men - ranging from teenagers to grandfathers clutching walking aids - looking for $50-a-night sex partners.

A survey by YMKK, or Partnership for Health and Humanitarian Foundation, in Batam last May found that about 600 Singaporean men arrive on Batam's shores every Saturday for sex.

The thriving sex trade, coupled with the rise in the number of cases of HIV/Aids and other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), prompted YMKK to ask the United Nations Development Fund for Women, Singapore (Unifem Singapore) and the Singapore International Foundation (SIF) for help.

Unifem and SIF are now supporting YMKK to 'empower migrant, sex and industrial workers in Batam and to combat the trafficking of women and children'.

Since September last year, a group of 28 volunteers with the SIF Youth Expedition Project have visited the island almost every weekend.

They train YMKK's local staff to use research software and teach them conversational English, among other skills, so YMKK staff are able to reach out to sex workers and persuade foreign donors to support their cause.

Said SIF volunteer Lim Kai Yang, 26: 'The sex trade in Batam is brought on by Singaporeans.

'And as a Singaporean Chinese man not involved in the sex trade, I feel a need to do my bit to help sex workers here.'

Problems highlighted by Mr Lim include girls as young as 15 being tricked into prostitution, unwanted pregnancies, STDs, HIV/Aids and drug addiction.

Said Ms Lola Wagner, YMKK's director: 'Girls from across Indonesia are promised good jobs in restaurants or karaoke lounges here, but when they arrive they find themselves locked up like prisoners and made to work as prostitutes.

'If they don't perform, they are not given food or beaten up.'

Ms Wagner estimates about half the sex workers in Batam are tricked into prostitution, and almost all who use YMKK medical services have STDs.

According to media reports, the island has about 7,000 registered prostitutes who work in government-regulated establishments, but the actual number could be nearer 20,000, said social workers.

Batam has among the highest incidences of HIV/Aids in Indonesia.

About 150 people there have HIV/Aids now, compared to just 72 in 2000.

They are mostly sex workers, and the number could be just the tip of the iceberg, said Ms Wagner.

She added: 'Many more cases could be going unreported, as sex workers are very afraid of going to the doctors. They're afraid of being tested positive.'

Said Mr Husaini Tarmizi, an outreach officer at YMKK, in Malay: 'Singaporean Chinese men like to look for girls under 18 years old, as they're pretty and considered to be still clean.

A 68-year-old security guard, who wants to be known only as Mr 1111, tells JANE NG why he has been going to Batam for the past 10 years

TEN years ago, my friends told me about the girls in Batam when they realised how much I had been spending on the nightclub girls here - between $60,000 to $100,000 just to get one to sleep with me.

I decided to give it a shot. I now spend most of my days off in Batam - which works out to once every 10 days or once in two weeks.

There are literally thousands of girls in Batam. Many of them are around 16 to 17 years old. Those who are 26 and above are considered old. No one wants them.

It all starts with a drink at the karaoke bar or disco. If we like each other, we can go on to spend the night together.

It costs just $50 to spend a night with a girl there, and maybe an additional $10 as a tip.

Regular customers like me pay only $40, compared to $30 per hour for the girls in Geylang, who can't compare with the Indonesian girls anyway.

My current girlfriend is a 17-year-old Indonesian girl.

She is really pretty. She has blue eyes, sharp nose and an oval face.

She is fair, with straight, waist-long hair which she recently coloured brown.

Singapore girls can't compare with her.

Like my past Indonesian girlfriends, she is understanding and makes no demands on me. She is simple-minded.

Of my $1,500 salary each month, I give her $300 - $60 to rent a small room and the rest for her food and expenses.

In return, she agreed to sleep exclusively with me and I promised not to sleep with other women. That's why I don't use a condom. I'm confident she does not have diseases. So far, so good.

I've told her that at any time, if she finds a younger man and wants to leave me, she is free to do so as long as she lets me know beforehand.

My wife, 63, and daughter, 38, know about her as well as the previous girls I've had.

They don't mind at all. My wife says as long as I don't bring back any disease or get cheated - by buying a house in Batam for my girlfriend - she is fine with it.

My daughter, whose son is six, says since Daddy is already so old, it's okay to let him have some fun.

And that is really all there is to it.

Visiting Batam is just an entertaining and relaxing pastime for an old man like me.

'Condoms and respect, please'
SEX workers in Batam have a message for Singaporean men: Please use condoms and show us some respect.

Said mamasan Farah (not her real name), 35, in Malay: 'We don't want to get pregnant. We don't want sexually transmitted diseases and we're so fearful of Aids.

'For everyone's sake, please use condoms.'

She said Singaporean men prefer unprotected sex.

She added: 'Some girls get pregnant and don't know what to do as abortion is illegal in Batam. It's very traumatic for them.'

Sex worker Anna (not her real name), 25, from Kalimantan, said: 'Just because men pay us for sex does not mean they can treat us badly or make us engage in violent sexual acts.'

She said she knows of sex workers who are slapped or beaten by their clients, but the majority just keep mum and blame it on their 'fate'.

According to Farah, most of the 'girls' are between 20 and 25 years old from various parts of Indonesia such as Java and Sumatra.

Many have to support their family back in their kampung, while others were abandoned by their husbands and resorted to prostitution to put their children through school.

Both Farah and Anna were evasive about their past, saying they couldn't reveal too much or they will land in trouble with their bosses.

There are literally thousands of girls in Batam. Many of them are around 16 to 17 years old. Those who are 26 and above are considered old. No one wants them.

It all starts with a drink at the karaoke bar or disco. If we like each other, we can go on to spend the night together.

It costs just $50 to spend a night with a girl there, and maybe an additional $10 as a tip.

Regular customers like me pay only $40, compared to $30 per hour for the girls in Geylang, who can't compare with the Indonesian girls anyway.

My current girlfriend is a 17-year-old Indonesian girl.

She is really pretty. She has blue eyes, sharp nose and an oval face.

She is fair, with straight, waist-long hair which she recently coloured brown.

Singapore girls can't compare with her.

Like my past Indonesian girlfriends, she is understanding and makes no demands on me. She is simple-minded.

Of my $1,500 salary each month, I give her $300 - $60 to rent a small room and the rest for her food and expenses.

In return, she agreed to sleep exclusively with me and I promised not to sleep with other women. That's why I don't use a condom. I'm confident she does not have diseases. So far, so good.

I've told her that at any time, if she finds a younger man and wants to leave me, she is free to do so as long as she lets me know beforehand.

My wife, 63, and daughter, 38, know about her as well as the previous girls I've had.

They don't mind at all. My wife says as long as I don't bring back any disease or get cheated - by buying a house in Batam for my girlfriend - she is fine with it.

My daughter, whose son is six, says since Daddy is already so old, it's okay to let him have some fun.

SEX workers in Batam have a message for Singaporean men: Please use condoms and show us some respect.

Said mamasan Farah (not her real name), 35, in Malay: 'We don't want to get pregnant. We don't want sexually transmitted diseases and we're so fearful of Aids.

'For everyone's sake, please use condoms.'

She said Singaporean men prefer unprotected sex.

She added: 'Some girls get pregnant and don't know what to do as abortion is illegal in Batam. It's very traumatic for them.'

Sex worker Anna (not her real name), 25, from Kalimantan, said: 'Just because men pay us for sex does not mean they can treat us badly or make us engage in violent sexual acts.'

She said she knows of sex workers who are slapped or beaten by their clients, but the majority just keep mum and blame it on their 'fate'.

According to Farah, most of the 'girls' are between 20 and 25 years old from various parts of Indonesia such as Java and Sumatra.

Many have to support their family back in their kampung, while others were abandoned by their husbands and resorted to prostitution to put their children through school.

Both Farah and Anna were evasive about their past, saying they couldn't reveal too much or they will land in trouble with their bosses.

A picture of their typical clients: usually Chinese Singaporean men, from those still in school to grandfathers who need help walking.

They usually come in groups of two to five during the weekend to shop, eat and have sex. Overnight romps cost about 250,000 rupiah (S$50).

A smaller group of men take the one-hour ferry ride to Batam on weekdays for 'short time' or quickies for between 120,000 and 150,000 rupiah.

Just came back from Batam this morning and thanks to "blursam" from tokcok; I ended up in Island Garden's KTV Pub on the end floor and they had at 8.30 pm a remaining collection of about 15 ladies of which at least 6-8 were of very nice quality "in Asian eyes".

Pricing here by Batam standards are at the top end with 500k LT booking charges.

Definitely a place to be recommended if you are sensitive to having better overall quality of ladies who are fashionably dressed.

As an aside, I would not recommend Batam's discos for pickup of freelancers on Saturday nights nowadays when both Planet and Pacific are truly packed out.

The proportion of men chasing women changes dramatically with many working locals joining the party scene with more pribumes in Planet and many Local Chinese in Pacific which is more upmarket. You can still get them - just that you have to work harder at it!

These gals will cost about 400K-500K. Either that, try our luck getting FLs in discos which will cost about 350K.

I am not all over the place lah; only Batam & Phuket for now and staying focussed because I am documenting this on my site which is in my signature here.

TP I have only been once and in the main town, never to km 24 so cannot comment on that place. The disco in the main town which someone local brought me to had lots of freelance which I would say were pretty young but, more in the 18-25 age range. I would like to go back to TP soon except that I have not finished with Batam yet. Its also much more convenient for someone who has little time. TP has less volume of visitors from Singapore and Malaysia so perhaps, it should be a good place to relax and find the gem you are looking for. I did not go to any booking joint when there so no comments. The choices in the disco was not bad but not as plentiful as in Planet and / Sphinx or Pacific Discos on ladies night.

So far, In Batam, the joint with the best collection of above average ladies that I have been would be:

1) Island Garden Hotel 2nd floor pub
from 8pm onwards but don't be late as their business is brisk.

2) Titanic - between 2pm and 5pm

Other joints have some nice ones too by far (1) and (2) have the best quality in any viewing I have been to.

e.g. Sedona's boss claims to have 75 ladies of which 40 plus are never in the showroom most of the time - back just to change clothes and collect things as regularly out with their repeat customers & extended bookings etc. This is true for many joints where the good ladies are pre-booked on the telephone by regulars.

3) Sphinx and now 4) Pacific and 5) Planet (KTV sections) also have a few nice ladies from time to time. Starting 8pm too.

In Batam, most of the booking places have ladies ranging from about 18 to as old as late 20s. Occasionally, you see an odd 17 yr old type and some of the independent mamis have girls around 16 occasionally but, its not the norm.
Booking places always have new stock every few months to replace "last stock" and those who finish contract. Sometimes, this turns up a very young one which does get snapped up pretty quickly too by young girl lovers!
e.g. one of my friend had two different 16 yr olds from Hollywood!

Free lancers are also in the 18 to late 20s type in the discos. However, there was one night I went back with someone only to discover she was late 16 coming 17 but, its not so common.

Its a rude shock for me cos I dun like them so young - mental block for me!

From your question I presume your preference is in the 16-18 range? The problems in Batam is having to sieve through many places to find the gems. However, this is true everywhere right?

If you hate to be rushed, avoid Batam on weekends for sure especially Saturdays.

Latest Report on the Best of Batam Golfing Opportunities:

The condition of the course is still improving but Tering Bay must now rate as one of the better golfing in Batam in the opinion of this writer.

Why?

1) They have the best looking new caddies - all ayam kampong and young, nubile and a few hot chocolate lookers! We golf becos of caddies right? And they are being trained well too even if they are new.

2) For beginner, the course is wide and angles off the tee are not intimidating.

3) For the better golfers, playing off the Blue, or Black (if you want more challenge), the course does have its own challenges because of its selectively placed bunkers on the fairways and around the green. You need to be accurate to score well. Granted, the course conditions could be improved (and, they are working hard at it) but, its not the condition of the course that determines your score; its your own ability right.

The condition of the course is still improving but Tering Bay must now rate as one of the better golfing in Batam in the opinion of this writer.

Why?

1) They have the best looking new caddies - all ayam kampong and young, nubile and a few hot chocolate lookers! We golf becos of caddies right? And they are being trained well too even if they are new.

2) For beginner, the course is wide and angles off the tee are not intimidating.

Monday is a rather slow beginning to the week after the hectic weekend. Most of the girls are like recovering but, I am sure they will appreciate getting some good kick off to business for the week. Some live-music places may have the band off that kind of thing.

Prices mentioned here are for one complete evening and excludes tips. Tips should be from 50k to 100k if services is decent. If you feel generous, do what you like but don't make it too expensive for others in future!

There are no "social escorts" in Batam; only whores! They work either ST or LT and the prices go from 200k to 500k per LT which is normally anytime from noon till the next morning around 9am although some will try to escape at 7am for their own reasons.

Some places only open at 8pm in which case the ladies are with you from 8pm till next morning.

"better quality?" you have to define what you mean by that because quality for me may not be quality for you and so on? Even worse, a Chinese man's idea of quality may be a world of difference with a caucasian man's idea - you will be shocked at the differences.

For Chinese / Asians in general, I would recommend two places for quality in terms of "looks and presentation"
and this may not necessarily translate into better service as it will depend on quite a few ingredients including your own "inputs" and behavior towards the lady in question.

1) The pub at Level 2 of Island Garden Hotel
(all priced at 500k here) without taxi commission - girls come in at 7pm.

2) Titanic at the Oasis Hotel - they have 280k, 320k and 450k depending on the girls concerned and they are open from 2-6pm and from 8pm onwards. If you miss the earlier session between 2-6pm, don't expect any nice ones to be left.

On weekends e.g. Fridays and Sats, you have to be early to get anything nice or else demand is greater than supply (for nice lookers).

3) There are sometimes nice lookers at a) Pacific Karaoke (Level 2) of the disco; b) Planet Karaoke - Level 3 of disco and c) Sphinx Karoake - level 2 above disco. The prices of (a) is 400k and (b) and (c) between 300k and 400k without taxi commission.

Also lots of freelancers (part time and full time) cruising the discos anytime from 11pm onwards and they will charge you anything from 300k upwards. I once had a nice one asking me for 750k before negotiations and I refused to negotiate. Its often dark in these places so find a way to have a good look before you shock yourself in the morning!

In almost all of the booking joints all over Batam, you will and, can sometimes find nice ones too at anywhere from 200k upwards (without taxi commission). Be early to get lucky cos the nice onces are almost "permanently out" on assignments every day except when they are on red alert and between assignments.

Recommended joints to check out would include: Pelita Hotel's Karaoke, Hollywood, Horisona, Brittanic, Maxims, Sedona, Permata Inda, ........ the list is long!

Harmoni Hotel has reopened and so has Morgan's Wine Bar located on the left of the main entrance.

Current entertainment consists of 14 hostesses cum waitresses elegant in long dresses most of whom speak English. No, they are not for booking, although some investment of time and some money will win a few hearts as normal.

A typical golfing day-trip to Batam

Little brother was feeling itchy so a quick call to my golf kaki and there we were amongst the gamblers on the 10am Tanah Merah Ferry to Nongsa, Batam to play at Tering Bay, today, one of the better managed golf courses in Batam.(designed by Greg Norman).

On arrival, their staff clears immigration for us while we board the bus and head staright to the golf course and by 10.20 am, we were teeing off number one with no one in front and no one behind, as if it all belonged to us.

Although playing most relaxingly, we still finished all 18 holes by 2pm (WIB) and had a nice wash up in the clubhouse. This time, we decided not to partake massage pleasure with the Tering Bay massage place and head straight into Nagoya by taxi.

While we were not going to stay, we first stopped at our regular hotel (City View) to drop off our golf bags and other stuff before having the taxi drop us off at Putri Bungsu for a lovely Nasi Padang lunch. (the best Nasi Padang in Batam for sure).

That done, we took an ojek ride to the are behind Harmoni Hotel to try the massage at Blue Moon. Why there and not other places? Someone had tipped me off about a Madurese masseur there and I wanted sample the "madurese grip". On arrival, we were surprised to find that charges here for a VIP room massage was RP100k - more than PAS massage where we were regulars. Perhaps, its because they are located behind Harmoni and enjoying the business of the hotel. The Madurese was available but all 6 VIP rooms (they only have 6) were occupied for the next hour and I made a decision to go with the Madurese in the normal massage area where customers are separated from one another by curtains only. (ask any Indonesian man who has screwed around and his eyes will roll when he talks about f*&&*%g a Madurese lady).

This did not help me to persuade the young lady that I could have her Madurese skills. For those who don't know, Maduerse ladies are famed for being able to use their inner vaginal muscles to clam and milk your thing while you are drilling away. (we finally rewarded him 50k because he really drove like hell to get us there on time after dinner).

At Oki, Siang Heng's lady boss (we believe one of the best seafood stalls) arranged for our favourite black been fish head and some fried kang kong (done rare as we like it) and we managed to satisfy our greed before rushing to pick up our stuff and get to the ferry exactly at 9.55pm It was definitely a nice interlude in Batam. Getting the Best out of Batam Golfing! All 19 holes and more!

Dear all Bros who are going to batam, and NOT STAYING IN HOTEL.

1. THere is a regulation that all visitor who are visiting batam for more than 24 hours, have to report to the police. Usually if you stay in a hotel, they will report it for you.

2. If you are residing in a friend house, you have to report to a police station, for a piece of paper, SKTI, cannot remember the initials as well. If you are unlucky and kana stop by a police, they can get a lump sum from you.

I think we are all the same or similar.

1) I only go to fish tank if I have not made prior arrangements with some cewek that I know and want to repeat. Repeat would also include pre-arrangement with some freelancer that I have cheong from disco previously that is worth keeping contact with or, some beer promoter or other non establishment gal e.g. gambling gal, waitress etc that we had "conquered".

2) Fish tanks for me only worth visiting prior to 5pm. However, there are some fish tanks worth visiting at 7pm because of their operational style e.g. Island Garden's 2nd floor or perhaps, Mami Anggi's brood at Pacific.

3) If (1) and (2) does not work out, plan C is to go to disco at 11pm for hunting freelance ceweks. Time before 11pm can be invested to fish for new contacts at beer pouring outlets e.g. food courts, massage joints or some pubs or restaurant that we have knowledge of some new talents to be "tangkap". With good luck and some skills, some of this new talent can even be arranged for same evening after work meeting and "closing of sale".

Well, Indo Chinese charbo are rare in Batam and the ones I had contact with all CMI in my eyes - really like 4.5 out of 10 or less and the dressing even worst. I don't mind if a charbo not beautiful so long as cute or sweet but heavy ah lian and badly dressed, I cannot tahan. I prefer not to give these ah lian numbers to you cos they really are horrible!

Never been to waterfront casino so I do not know what these look like so I will assume that they are model quality like those we see in Sillypore or Thailand (as you have reported very extensively in your Thailand / Bangkok thread) in which case I would say you need to fly to Jakarta and I would recommend to go to 1001 at Hayam Wuruk.

But again, it would be more Pribumis rather than Charbo (Cina) although their quality of China birds there is really not bad! I rather pay and get their Menado or Sunda ladies myself. Funny, but I do like all sorts of exotic Indonesian looks myself and they tend to be better f*&Ks too.

I had a long discussion recently with Mami Anggi (formerly from Sphinx but now based in Pacific Disco) and she was telling me that less and less girls wanna go to work in Batam so good new stock is hard to find for them too.

Ya, the local Batam / Tg Pinang / Balai charbo (local chinese birds) are sweet and some very beautiful and you are right, they avoid older guys like you and I unless, you put out the word that you wanna marry them and truly seeking a wife. Also that, you are well off in which case, its a different ball game - are you prepared to do that including flashing around with an expensive car everytime you are there? If so, and you prepared to live the lie, I am sure old ah pek also can find nice younger charbo who desperately wanna have a nice Singaporean hubby who is rich.

Frankly, if you get a beautiful charbo in Batam who is in the line, I am sure you will get lousy service and huge charges which makes it damm not worth it.You do get an occasional nice looking one in Planet or Pacific nowadays (usually down from Jakarta) but you wanna check out b4 you leave the club cos lighting makes everyone look better than reality ya.

In Batam, even the beautiful ceweks get spoilt in a very short time so that in less than 2-3 visits, you start to see the shit from them and it then becomes time to move on. Money talks and bullshit walks is very accurate for these ladies here.

Last visit (Friday) I ran into Mami Era now of Coin Club with her girls at Pacific Disco after 1am. She used to be mami Sella at Planet Ozone on the hill that closed. Sometimes, she has nice girls and I understand that Coin Club target Chinese clientele so they have China girls and some local Charbo maybe from Kalimantan or Medan. Never been to waterfront casino so I do not know what these look like so I will assume that they are model quality like those we see in Sillypore or Thailand (as you have reported very extensively in your Thailand / Bangkok thread) in which case I would say you need to fly to Jakarta and I would recommend to go to 1001 at Hayam Wuruk.

But again, it would be more Pribumis rather than Charbo (Cina) although their quality of China birds there is really not bad! I rather pay and get their Menado or Sunda ladies myself. Funny, but I do like all sorts of exotic Indonesian looks myself and they tend to be better f*&Ks too.

I had a long discussion recently with Mami Anggi (formerly from Sphinx but now based in Pacific Disco) and she was telling me that less and less girls wanna go to work in Batam so good new stock is hard to find for them too.

Day One

A few exchanges of SMS soon confirmed for me that the guy was not serious about golfing. "Wat me wurry", I said to myself; theres more to Batam than golf.

Missed the 2 something ferry and since there was no golf game, opted to use the other half of my wavemaster ticket and booked self for the 4.50 vessel. Went up to the very nice new foodcourt at Harbourfront to get some work (emails) done on the puter. While there, my regular partner to Pleasure Island calls me to ask what's up and I said, "My Pecker, I am on the way across the waters" and, he said "okay wait for me at the hotel, I'm coming too!" and suddenly there were two!

Landed and hopped into the regular 30k taxi which I directed to send me to Prima Asia which I had called from the boat to reserve two rooms for us. Also sms(ed) Mami Coen of Island Garden's KTV to reserve one of the brood who I had been salivating to bonk since I had seen her with another friend on a previous trip. She had not answered me as yet. While in the taxi, called her on the phone, she said she had yet to locate the gal and asked me to call her again in 10 minutes. We had not met on the island for more than a month and I asked him to join us at Oki for dinner if he felt like it.

At Oki, we proceeded to order dinner with Siang Heng (our favourite here now) and hunger did not allow us to wait for "M's" arrival. He had called to say he would be a little later and was coming with his gal & Bushranger. Hmm, that would be nice, I have never met Bush and I wanted to get acquainted too.

When we were ordering dinner, the usual gaggle of Beer Promoters lined up in front of us to promote their brands and since none were "enticing", I ordered a bottle each of Bintang, Heineken and Carlberg just to share out the business. In the middle of dinner, "M" arrived with Bushranger and we added to the order of food so there was enough for all. "M's" gal arrives about 10 minutes later with another friend and suddenly, our table needed to be extended.

Over dinner, introduced a few new dishes to Bushranger and "M" and I hope they were not just being cordial in saying the dishes were nice.

Earlier, my lady of the night had asked me to go to Island Garden after dinner as they were having some kind of event there that evening. As usual, I was not sure what it was she was saying since my bahasa is "kurang" and I asked the others if it was ok to go there?

Everyone said ok, and we hopped into two cabs to go over. It was overcrowded and the aircon was not rigged to handle such a crowd. There was going to be a competition for “dandut dancing” the “Inul way” and the prize was 300k.

In my opinion good money for doing very little. At least 15 booking ceweks (all at 500k at Island Garden) were still available and could have participated. “M” wanted his GF to go in but she would not. Anyway, the waiting allowed me to observe and talent spot other nice ones from Mami’s collection who were loitering around – I have a new target for the next visit now.

Lucky draw over, out the door quickly, grabbed a cab and arranged by phone to pick up pal at Classic Pub in the NED. He had just ordered a 3rd round but, I told him to down it so we would not keep the taxi waiting too long!

Pacific was just filling up when we arrived just after midnight (wib). As usual, some people had to pay and I paid homage to the doormen patting them on the hands and back and we walked first into the disco and then upstairs to see Mami Anggi. Washed up, put on the TV to watch the Olympics and duly fell asleep. On the way, we decided that we would go to Johnny Andrean salon for some really cheap and value for money treatment. Then, a slow walk through the rest of Centrepoint, past Lucky Plaza where we have had some success in the past on the way to Oki.

We arrived at Siang Heng in Oki and lady boss there was surprised to see us again. We do not usually stay two nights in a row. Discussed some new dishes for this visit and awaited the food to be readied. Meantime, gave some business to the hard working Heineken lady. Noticed that there was a big party (almost 20 of them) of “Baies” (turbaned singhs) from Sillypore with about 5 ladies in tow. Except for one, the rest were “modern” (without turbans) and their local guide/driver was in a dominating mood. There, he was shooting instructions to Siang Heng’s lady boss all over the place and obviously demanding VVIP service for his party of “big spenders” so it appeared. There was also a local Chinese “taxi cum guide” person with his small party of 4 Sillyporeans at a nearby table. The pleasure island industry continues to spin profitably for the suppliers.

Dinner was good and we’ve finally got them to do the vegetables rare as we like them. At Oki, its kind of fun to watch the 3 competing stalls with their pretty young Chinese waitressed outdoing each other for customers. On this night, it was a kind of “shoe competition” to see who had sexier looking shoes and yet, it needed to be comfortable for their walking around.

We went back to hotel to wash off the “dinner-sweat” again and I called my young thingy to join me at the hotel. Mentari’s signal is difficult to get in the lower disco and I went up again to get “M’s” reply to my SMS. Signal on & his message picked up, we were able to find him quickly enough.

As if on queue, my young thing was bouncing away to the music and I hit the beer hard to get turned on too. I suspect that she had already ingested one of those pills earlier when she arrived. Well, theres not much to do on the boat coming back so sometimes, I find the energy to put it together. Would be nice to learn something from you and the other brothers here too.

A1 - probably has a larger choice of stalls and more Beer Pouring Girls than Oki and variety in food too. To each his own of course. I do use A1 sometimes too where appropriate.

Perhaps let me share my experience in batam. I went to batam twice so far. The first time was with a friend of mine, who's pretty experienced in that island. Stayed in Hotel Royal, quite good actually, not sure whether is it too expensive or not, but i kinda love that place. Rose is directly opposite City View Hotel which has had a more recent "makeover" and they also have the XXX movies that you mentioned. However, it can get boring if its the Japanese type with the critical parts you wanna view "blocked" out. Actually, most of the smaller hotels have the XXX channel after 9pm except those targetting families such as Prima Asia.

I bring my own just in case the ladies like to have porno movies too.

1) Hotel Royal is pretty good value for money. Only problems is the "off-centre" location and if you don't mind that, its very OK. YOu may want to try out Island View Hotel which is also quite good and about the same standard. More central location right next to Planet Disco with a special entrance to it.
Tel: +62778 430500 Nett with breakfast for 2 S$40 and S$45 on weekends. Call to book as very popular. Its the sister hotel of Island Garden.

2) Batu Ampar is no longer in operation. If you are going to Nagoya, best to go via Batam Centre which is much further than BA but no choice unless you want to go via Sekupang (nearer to Singapore but further from Nagoya). This only recommended if you playing golf in Sekupang (Indah Puri) before 19th hole action.
Penguin is good alternative today because of "code sharing" arrangements with Dino and that gives you more frequency of boats. Wavemaster is best boat but less frequencies than the combination of Penguin / Dino on one ticket.

3) Lack of knowledge of Malay should not be viewed as a handicap. Many of the Mamis and Papis can speak some mandarin and / or Hokkien.
I believe you have done National Service in Sillypore so you should be able to read a map properly. If you have time, visit the website in my signature and you will see a "dummy guide" for which I charge not for profit, but rather for the site's upkeep. Its the best map on Batam's Nagoya action right now and I have invested time and money to get it done. You pay once and you reap heaps in savings on taxi commissions and the return in terms of knowing where to go and what to do when you are in Batam for ACTION. The Dummy guide there works very well together with the rest of the information on the site under "batam info & services".

If you don't want to pay for the dummy guide, you will still get plenty of information on the site free - check it out.

4) I posted the gal's plight and on her request for assistance. Sensasi is rather "offbeat" in terms of its brood of ladies. To go to Sensasi,Tel: 455972, drop off at Pelita Hotel walk in to let taxi get out of there; cross the road directly in front and you will see Hollywood (at the shophouse on the opposite side of the road) Walk into the road going downhill and you will see Sensasi in the shophouse lot at the bottom.
Out of a total of about 20 ladies, I have only seen perhaps, 2-3 that I would touch and the cuty is one of them. If you don't find her appealing, move on to other places and I would recommend the following for booking joints right now (if budget is not a priority) You may also want to peek into Hollywood before you go into Sensasi so you know what they have - many ladies but only a few I would take.

a) Island Garden KTV at 2nd level, Penuin - all ladies here 500k and no taxi commission is payable as not entertained by owners.
Viewing only from 7pm onwards.

b) Titanic at the Oasis Hotel - Prices here are 280k, 320k and 450k without taxi commission. Drop off at front entrance of hotel - act as if you are staying at the hotel and do not go directly up to the KTV until the taxi goes off. Don't let him think you are there to shop for ladies. Always tell the Mami / Papi there is no taxi involved and ask for that to be taken off the price when you are booking and have got rid of the taxi.
Best to go at about 2-3 pm before the crowd gets in and all the nice ones are gone.+62 8127024323 (should be Mami's number) otherwise, its one of the ladies I have booked, not sure whose number this is.

c) Mami Anggi's brood at Pacific Disco - only from 7.30pm onwards at the level two of Pacific Disco's KTV bar area. Mami Anggi Tel: +62 (816) 3689245

d) The group of places located behind the Goodway hotel namely Sedona Country, Brittanic KTV, Jungle Minda & Dynasty all within walking distance of one another. Get taxi to drop you off at Lai Lai as if you are staying there and you can walk all the joints in one go. Again, act as if you staying there and get rid of taxi first to save of taxi commission and bother of the guy pressurising you. Sedona should be viewed from 11.30am to 3pm latest.

5) Massage - I always recommend PAS Health Centre because I truly believe it is the best in Nagoya area. It is located behind the Gloris Hotel so you can tell the taxi "belakang Gloris Hotel - itu tempat urut jangan bawak aku ka tempat lain" (translated, this says, "behind Gloris Hotel - the place for massage traditional, don't bring me other places"). Here you have a wide choice of ladies. If you want hard and good, try number 21 - Kumala - not a looker but certainly the best here. Non VIP is 65k or therabouts and VIP room is 94k for 1 and half hours. Tip is up to you - 30 to 50 k highly appreciated.

I have some Indonesian language help on the site of mine too so go print it out and bring with you - it will make your visit more enjoyable esp if you are into cewek hunting at night in the discos and malls or even in the enjoyment of your cewek that you book.

Sorry ah, I thank you for compliments but I can tell you that there are many experienced and knowledgeable Batam goers here who know much more than me.

However, maybe, they have no time to post information, or they want to keep to themselves for personal reasons, etc etc. It can be time consuming.

Batam is a fantastic jewel of a playground for us here in Singapore with better value for money and time than Johor which is the other foreign country connected to us and easy to get to.

The result is that too many people go there and perhaps, in their ignorance and lack of information, end up having bad experiences or perhaps, truly cheated even.

This is terrible for a country like ours where most young men have experienced National Service and therefore should know what is "recce", intelligence, reading map, etc - all that military training that should make it easy for us to operate into foreign soils and get the most out of that experience.

My objective here is to share "s-player information" and perhaps, in that process, build an information service that is reputable to help all of us have a great time here and I am having fun at the same time too!

Another Friday NIght in Batam!

‘Golf Tomorrow?”;
I received the SMS on Thursday evening this week and my reply was, “OK, afternoon and do we stay over?”

A quick call and we were soon booked for the Friday 2.05 ferry from Tanah Merah to Nongsa where we were to golf after which, it would be dinner in Nagoya and “debauchery” thereafter.

Golf was murder the way I played but my saving grace was the last two holes which allowed me to half the match that day. Who cares, its only golf!

In the changing room, the usual SIA kebaya-clad ladies (from the massage) tried to interest us in having a massage. No, we were heading for Nagoya where the same fun was for half the price. Only partake of the very nice services here if we’re on the way out back to Sillypore and unable to go to Nagoya – why waste good money?

I usually stay at a very modest hotel to cut down on costs and in this visit, I used Prima Asia Hotel which is very basic but the rooms are very clean and good enough for me. No smelly carpets which some older hotels have.

Theres only the room and the hotel does not even have a coffee shop but that's okay cos I never like hotel food anyway.
A nearby coffee shop takes care of my breakfast deliciously and very cheap.

The rate is 125k per night and they charge 145k for Fridays and Sats but, I still get weekday rates on weekends as a regular.

Its located at the back of the New Centrepoint and thats one of the reasons I like it cos I can walk there as well as to Lucky Plaza, the supermarket therein, to the Pharmacies in case I need to buy condoms, or Levitra, or to Istimewa seafood which is one of my favourites.

I can also walk to PAS health centre, A1, Oki and to the nearby NED Pubs and even as far as Harmoni if I feel like it and from there cross the road to Planet Disco.

The money changer next to Istemewa nearby is now a good buddy who gives me decent exchange rates.

On prepaid telephone cards, most of us use it so locals e.g. ceweks who know us can call us if we want to talk to them or SMS. Singtel and other providers from Singapore murder us when we are roaming and also when we send out sms when roaming. Using the local prepaid card, we save on this.

I usually put my singapore mobiles divert to voice mails and also inform whoever is looking for me to call my Indo number if urgent. If you are afraid that others might know you are in Batam, don't do this. Of course, you can say you are in Jakarta or Bali. They will not know the difference.

The cheapest prepaid comes loaded with abot 50k of prepaid amount and costs about 80k. I understand that some of them are even cheaper to buy but since I have not been buying recently, I cannot be sure of the price. Its worth it if you are there often. In Indonesia, call incoming calls are free if you take a card that offers free roaming in Indonesia e.g Mentari or proxl.

The value gives you a time-line of 1 or two months depending on the service provider and when that expires, you have either one or two months extra free incoming calls before the card dies on you.

I usually maximize this to receive inbound calls while using my singtel lines on roaming to make outcalls, but, never to receive incoming roaming calls (activating my call divert to voice mail)

Sorry for this long overdue report on my trip to Batam. I would like to thank sassina2 for his help, in giving me ideas on where to go, and choices which i can make.

Firstly, as an general idea on how late this report was, I went to batam on Sept 11. ;).. Nice date eh.. Ever since i went there 1 year ago, i wanted to visit that place again. I arrived at harbourfront at 1200HRS, went to the Penguin counter, and booked my tickets and hotel stay in Novotel. Hotel was $65, and ferry ticket was $27. Let me give my view on the hotel first.

For $65, its rather good. pleasent staff everywhere, but due to my late booking, i got a room on the 2nd floor. Checked the price on whether walk-in is cheaper or not, comes out to be that buy from penguin is cheapest. The only thing which i didn't like about the hotel, was the charges for the taxi. What i am trying to imply, was say take a taxi from the hotel to anywhere, it starts at 30k. In fact, to the golden prawn, was 40k itself. Granted that i have the choice on having simply walked out and hailed a cab myself, but being a newbie, i just didn't wanna fork out the trouble. Breakfast was great, better than expected, and i enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

Right. To continue now. I took the 1+pm ferry, reached Batam centre about 1 hr later. Batam centre was certainly better than the old Batu Ampar. Less touts, and there's even a taxi stand, which charges me 35k to my hotel. Less hassle, but what the heck. Just wanted to start my day nice. keke...

Checked in, and then we hurried out and onto PAS Health centre for a nice massage. Got myself a VIP room (93k) and a nice girl. She was rather cute, but i had a wonderful time over there. Left that place, and this time, wanted to go on to Hotel Island Garden KTV to check out some stocks. We had this taxi driver (stationed in Puri Garden Hotel) but met him outside Golden Prawn, who starts his recommandations to us. This is the part where it starts to be fishy (for me).

He told me that day was a 'holy' day where KTVs are not supposed to be operating. It's a first for me to hear this though. Anyway, he tried to tell us that Island Garden KTV was closed, and there's some nice girls with gd service in some other KTV. Ok. I might as well give it a try anyway.

We went onto Dui Crown, Hollywood (again), Sensasi and Pelita KTV. One thing that was funny, was we went thru the back doors for most ktv, except hollywood. Weird eh? I ended up seeing a cute girl from Dui Crown, so i booked her, and my friend grabbed a rather quiet (in my opinion) girl from Pelita KTV. I must say, the choices left in Dui Crown and Pelita were plenty. Sensasi and Hollywood didn't leave any remarkable ones...

Went back to our hotel first, was thinking of a shower then probably head to pacific and take a look on how its like. Notes on some things you could have done differently:

1) Penguin return ferry should be S$24 not S$26. Strange to me. Perhaps it included the S$2 Batam Centre terminal charges?

2) Novotel would have cost you RP320 k at the KATA Reservation service on arrival at Batam Centre I mentioned earlier to you. Thats around S$60 at today's rates. Also the taxi fare at Batam Centre should be 30k - they snooked you the extra 5k.

Yes, hotel taxi (4star) will hit you for what you got. Should still be only 20k - they chopped you! Out to the road and it will be 10k so the option was yours. Location sucks except for going to Pacific Disco of course.

3) Golden Prawn - you still went much against my advice and then you were happy so I got no comment. Me. I will swear here publicly that unless someone drags me there, I will not go there for the prices n quality of cooking.

4) PAS - haha glad you got a nice cute girl . Wonder who she was. I have bonked in there with some effort but, very few of the ladies will allow it of course.

5) The best girls in Hollywood and Sedona are never in the fish-tank. They are almost permanently booked out by their regulars. e.g. There are about 75 ladies in Sedona and even if you go at 1pm, you will see at most 35 ladies. The rest come back to change clothes and do some personal admin and out they go without stopping in the tanks. I am less knowledgeable about Hollywood as I never liked the place much.

6) Pity you missed Hotel Island KTV. I know a few friends who like nice looks and packaging and they swear by this place. Taxi probably discouraged you because he does not get commission there. That's a fact. You could also have peeked in after Dui just to see for yourself as its opposite and on the left of Dui Crown which is also at Penuin.

Yes, on holy days, the front doors of KTV would be closed. But Island Garden KTV is adjoined to a pub and in a hotel & the pub will be opened I am sure. They also have their own way to open to you if they are closed.

Anyway, I am happy that you were happy with your Ella.

7) If you are sensitive to location, then you are better at Island View but Royal is good too - just out of the way like Novotel is but more in town than Novotel.

Once you have booked the girl, she can go so long as you pay the transport fee. Waterfront or Nongsa is OK. The good thing of course is that if the girl is naughty (as some of them are and wants to "escape" for an hour or two ) being far away from Nagoya makes it near impossible for them to play such games.

Just that I have this strong belief that they pay high commission to taxis and you are eating taxi commission thus resulting in high prices based on Batam situation.

As confirmed by a recent visit, both my friend and I and the cewek found the cooking ordinary.

Island Garden KTV is one of the most expensive places to book ceweks and they do not pay taxi commission despite that. Price there is 500k.

Planet KTV (300k), Pacific KTV(400k), Sphinx KTV (300-400k), No Name KTV (500k) (Harmoni Hotel) and Miyabi KTV (500k) at Goodway Hotel also do not pay taxi commission so the taxi drivers shun these places.

So far of these, I would only recommend the Island Garden, Planet and Pacific as the others did not have interesting line-ups when I visited on a few occasions.

About Holy Days, my knowledge of this is below par, best to consult the muslim friends you have. However, this coming Oct 15 onwards, its Ramadan and on the first 5 days, the last 5 days and also somewhere in the middle, you will find places totally shut with the back door as the only alternative etc - best to avoid going.

On being tour guide, its like that lah. People believe BM is the source and expert based on the island so when they go, they call, you to meet and they naturally expect your royal hospitality service all the time !

I prefer to help with information (as accurately as possible) and those brothers wanna take some effort to use it properly, then they benefit in "shaking off" the parasite of taxi drivers and can save on commission etc in future lah.

As to bringing people around, if they with me and its convenient, I don't mind to go with brothers because I need to update myself on new places, old places (which changing all the time) and most importantly, if there are nice new undiscovered talents, then I can keep in "black book" for future references in times of need. Girls with good nice looks & service attitude are hard to find anywhere in the world! (at the right market price).

After all, the Batam girl scene is so fast moving - "one day shes there and next day shes gone." Worst still, one day "shes good and next day she's screwed up because char bor gets spoiled very fast in Batam."

I was there 2 days ago. In Planet. They are renovating the place, next to the jackpot machines. Out from the lift, turn left to Jackpot, right to casino. Not open yet. told by the staff that it will be another month b4 it is open :o

I only stay at those hotels which at at least S$40/- and above and these hotels mostly don't provide such porno moives as in-house entertainment. ;)

Those previous BTTC meets you also never book hotels which are below S$40/-, cheapest I remeber was Seruni @S$41/- (rear wing) :D

that prison-cell kinda room reminds me of Hotel Oasis ... (sorry a bit of history lesson again) you know how to get to stay at Hotel Oasis?

Few years back when I was in a ferry (destination = Batu Ampar) I overheard two 40 y.o. plus uncles were talking, one said: "you stay at Hotel Oasis lah ... quite cheap, Rp158K nia .... "

So I thought "Wow! beri cheap leh ..." then I went to H O to check in to one of the Rp158K rooms ... wow lan eh, inside the glass panel got 2 mask (to purify the air you breath) so that you wont suffocate when there is fire / smoke .... but hor, no windows arh! :eek:

From that day onwards, I would pay another Rp70k to get a room with sliding window door + balcony to relish the city view

you are right. But at least with S$40, there are more options on rooms to choose from and the paying guest can switch rooms/switch hotels until one is satisfied.

On the contrary, S$25-S$30 would mean lesser options and can't expect too much cos the reception would think: "kenapa itu orang begitu - baya sikit mau minta banyak" (why that person like that - pay little request so much)

Besides the window issue, its the type of staying guest that is my concern.

A Walk Through Batam in Sillypore!

Ring Ring, a call from M******,

"Hi, no need to visit me now as I will put what you want into a CD and we could meet somewhere more interesting OK."

Me says. "OK, where you thinking of meeting?"

M****** says, " I was thinking of going to geylang and walk around the Indonesian area.

Me says, " Good idea, I have nothing to do right now anyway."

So when M****** was about to leave his home in a taxi, he alerts me and I leave my place to meet up with him at Lorong 12/14 geylang.

On arrival, I see him talking to a local guy and pat him on the back. "Hi, how we doing?"

Soon learnt from them that the police had been round and taking back quite a few women off the streets. That left us with men wandering around and many crowding around police vans and watching them doing their duty "cleansing" Geylang of the unlicensed girls that bring people every night to this "wonderland".

We moved around to check if the butterflies of the night were indeed all gone before we situated ourselves at a coffee shop in lorong 14 to relax and await the return of the ladies.

While drinking our Tiger, M***** eyed 3 ladies at a table not too far from us and signaled to me that one of them was pretty striking and attractive.

Turning round, I listened and informed him that I could hear Indonesian in their chatter. Catching the lady by eye contact, I signaled with my hand and she walked over without hesitation.

“Elo, mau berkenal ya?” She said. I pulled the chair out for her to seat and we learnt that she was from Solo and at close range, I would rate her about 5 out of 10. Not bad though a little on the slim side. Lots of ‘spunk” and tempting. Since, the night was young, we got to know her better and collected her Singapore and Batam HP numbers just for future action is we wanted. She soon excused herself when she realized that “no sale” was going to be made there and then. Name we learnt was Susan.

By then, we noticed that the ladies were already drifting back to the street and we paid up and started to walk back to Lor 12 where the main bulk of Indonesia ladies were on “stationed on night duty parade”.

Walking down the Lorong from the main Geylang road, we met many familiar faces from the Planet and Pacific Disco scene in Batam all over the place.

Many of them knew my “Bule” friend from his infamous forays to those discos in Batam and actually were calling out his name and running up to grab him. Some were close friends of friends.

One of two recognized me too and came up to say hello.

It was “Planet & Pacific Disco in the streets of Singapore” . LBFMs and a few light skinners too “hitting” you at almost every step of the way. There were the usual “uglies” and many cute and nice-enough ones to satisfy s-players who know how to appreciate LBFMs and Indo gals.

Intan, Lavie, Nita, Eva, Vivi and many others. With a polite request, most of them were happy to give me their Batam contact HP numbers and I keyed them in to my cellphone for future follow up visits to Batam.

Moving back to the main street, we sat ourselves down at another coffee shop where we joined a table of 3 ladies also from Indonesia.

Of these 3 older ones, one was full of life and assertive to be attractive to talk to. She had two kids she told us she is still legally married to her American hubby with whom she had the first son. From Bali, she leads a happy and reasonably “wealthy life” in Batam from a Batam Centre house in Orchid Park or something that sounds that way.

All her earnings come from her visits here to work the Geylang area and she was proud that with the monies that she earned, she could have a maid to take care of her Batam based second child for whom she provided well.

She did and still loves her “areshole” American husband and refuses to seek financial support from him even though it was within her legal rights. We learnt a little about personal pride and stubbornness there and then.

Wishing her well, we moved back to Lorong 12 for a second look and it took us more than an hour to trawl past the many Indonesian ladies who accosted us by grabbing our hands and propositioning us for “short time” pleasure or long time booking. The going rate asked ranged from S$40 – 60 for ST and S$150 to S$200 for LT.

M***** finally took his desire back for a night of debauchery at a decent rate of S$150.

I was highly tempted to do the same from the many that I had met including one that I had already bonked twice out of Planet during my visits there. She did look just as delectable.

But, I stayed with my earlier resolution to be “window shopping” only.

With M*****’s departure, I soon hopped into a taxi to get home carrying my awakened hot rod in its full glory hidden in my pants.

It was truly an enlightened walk through “Batam’s freelance Disco places” right here in Sillypore!

- Formed in Nov 2002 by a few regular Batam Cheongsters who are also happen to be teochews.
