Next year's CNY coincides with the AC Hot Air Balloon festival from 9th-12th February. It will be packed so get your hotels early. As I will be involved as part of the crew.... we are given accommodation at the Fontana Resort which I understand is filling up fast. :)

There are 2 Baguios. One is Baguio City and the other is Little Baguio.

Actually really had a great time, and each night the girl was better than the last. First 2 nights I actually budget myself on drinks PHP3000 per night. But on the third night, I was thinking what the heck, I just spent. So at Golden Nile, I bought DLD for any girls that I see that is nice (actually is becos I see one group of Koreans come in and all the girls think that they're god, so I very tulan, just use the laser pointer to point at any one that I see that is nice). So in the end bought I think almost 20 DLD, and I myself had 5~6 SMB. And after that the mamasan told me I'll get free birs whole night long. The bill come out to be around PHP7000. In fact still cheaper than drinking in Batam. The girl I took I think is spotlight dancer? or lead dancer? cos she doesn't wear work tag, and also uniform is the odd one out of all the dancers.

After paying the bill, took my girl over to Blue Nile to say hi to bro mufan and hayhay, and head to High Society for second round of party. Over there I took the vip sofa table beside the DJ. Wow, really vip treatment, cos got one bouncer park in front of the table to prevent unecessary people from coming into the vip area. Maybe becos my table have the most girls cos about 8 of the dancers at Golden Nile that I bought LD for came over to join us later in the night and they took turns buying me tequila shots. High Society although small, nice place in general with cheap drinks and tasty finger foods.

My modus operandi for the 3 bars (Carousel, Fobidden City, and Golden Nile) that I went: -
- order a bir and sit in front of the stage
- after my first bir, ask mamasan come over to buy her a LD
- during conversation, I'll let her "know" that I actually took a girl from XYZ bar the previous night, but she turned out to be a runner and thus I'm not going to XYZ bar ever again. And so if her girls do a runner on me, I'm not going to come her bar again. Then I also told her that if the girls are nice and not runner, I'll come back again. And I told her that I'll take a girl from her bar but not so fast, maybe after I finish another few birs and I'll stay in the bar until quite late.
- so after I finished my third or forth bir, I ask the mamasan to come over again and ask her what is her impression of the girls that I pointed at. And her reply is quite truthful; "this one confirm runner", "this one dun like many boom boom", "this one got husband/kids at home in AC", "this one staying with parents in AC", "this one attitude cos got sponsor", "this one will stay with you but I needa talked to her", "this one confirm stay with you".
- so after I choose my girl, bought her a few LD and during conversation tell her that I'm interested to take her back, but am worried whether will she be nice and not a runner. Then add-on by telling her that if she is nice and not a runner, if I come back to her bar again I'll take her again. So technically, if I don't go to her bar, I dun take her again. Provided she can catch what I meant earlier on. Am just practicing 1 bar 1 girl policy.

The Golden Nile dancer I took on the third night (Monday) stayed with me the entire time. Like what many brudders say, when you wanna fly back then kanna very good one. Cut the long story short, last night I took my girl went back Golden Nile again and the mamasan was quite shock that I really went back to the bar again if the girl is good and not a runner. Didn't really stayed long there, had a few free birs and bought a few LD and went back hotel with my girl to sleep cos gotta catch this morning 6:30am flight back.

On the runner issue, I believe half of the rationale behind it is caused by the bar. Cos each dancer have a weekly XX no. of LD and X no. of BF target to achieve. By doing a runner, they hope to go back to the bars to work harder again or go disco to "fish" to pay for the fine. This is what the dancer I took from Golden Nile told me. She said hers is 50 LD and 2 BF target per week.

Finally, treat the girls with respect, make fun of them, tell them jokes, and most will reciprocate. Even those that I didn't buy LD for stayed around beside me listening to my crude jokes/riddles and playing games. The boom boom part will most likely come good later on. But if you first intention is to just boom boom, then you'll give the girls the impression that you're no fun to be with.
