Why do you need to top up? I never had to pay extra as I was taught by seniors that whether it is HJ or FJ is still the same rate as long as within the time limit. I only need to pay pro-rata if I overshoot the time. I have done FJ with several MLs and they have never ask me for extra money. But I did tip a few on my own accord because I liked their service.... and not because they let me FJ.
