Yes, Starhub has blocked access to SBF. I suppose it is a matter of time before the other two telcos do likewise. But, having reflected on the issue again, I am still not convinced that JB violated any law in his compilation thread, or even if he did, that was the sole reason why his thread was deleted. I suspect the phrase quoted above might have played a part, perhaps an important part as well.

IMHO and just like many others have said here, JB was only doing a compilation. He never promoted any ML in his compilation thread. In fact, at times, he even included :( next to a ML. On the other hand, others like us would give good (or bad) reviews to MLs who we like (or don't like) and recommend (or don't recommend) RTMs. Wouldn't we be promoting the MLs more than JB? The only difference I can see is that ours is an individual post whereas JB's thread has multiple posts. Also, JB has 3 or more lists. I suppose one could say the first list contains the good MLs whereas the third list contains the not so good MLs. The first list is the one that cheongsters RTM whereas cheongsters avoid the MLs on the third list. Again, how is that promoting any ML?

Did I just hit the nail on the head? Did any OKT complain to Sam that JB's 3 lists was bad for their business? The OKTs cannot stop single MRs but here is an opportunity to prevent access to a compilation of MRs. Make sense? :D:D

Who knows, maybe this very thread by Stiffness might also be under threat....

As for the block I reckon the MDA probably had a few complaints about SBF recently and had to show they've taken action. I'm guessing it's related an increase in DMCA notices and takedown demands Boss said he's been handling.

The L forum isn't blocked, so it's not due to new policy.
