Camelot Bar in Fields Raided last night 23 March at 8.05pm. No customers arrested but staff were taken away in tourist bus.

Some bars chose to close immediately. Namely SpearMint Rhino.

Is there any minimum age limit for guys going to the nightspots in AC?
I have some tiime to kill before going for National Service later this year and was thinking of making a trip there.

With the intensive enforcement and raids of last year..... the bars have decided not to take any chances of giving the authorities an excuse to raid them again.... so they have stopped the practice of barfines for their girls.

However that does not mean the girls cannot go with you..... what happens between you and the girl the bar does not get involved now so you negotiate directly with the girl and pay the girl (the girl will reimburse the bar an amount for taking time off to be with you :D)

Barfine in LIA is 1300p at the present moment...... but heard there were plans to increase to 1500p.

That depends on where you want to go. If it is along the jeepney's usual route then 250p would suffice.
