The Hotel you stay is not too far from Tropical. You also have a choice of FM1 Hotel. This is diagonally opposite Mal Taman Anggrek. You won't miss it, coz the building is in bright yellow & blue...

i am finally going to JKT again after a 2-3 month break. I will be heading there from tomorrow till next Monday and was preparing to party my brains out.

However, i just received some information that was not good from a local friend. As it will be Vesak day long weekend this week, a lot of party joints will be closed for Thursday and Friday night. How true is this?

Hope some old timers through their experience can confirm the above?

From the internet search Taman Sari Raya (no 57) near city area is like Geylang fish tank. (Taxi should be 5 -15k rp)
See few rows of ladys. Just pick up and paid than bring back.

No waste time


going rate 3hours 200-400k rp
overnight 500-600k rp.
In theory safer in the sense that no stealing as you can always find them in the same house.
Near by hotel for transit (75k for 3 hour) the lady will know.

Went on my first trip to Jarkata last month. It was on the company expense and they booked me into Shangrila (good for me)

Before the trip, of course, I did some survey and readup on places to go in Sammy and makanspecials.

Reach there in the morning and was able to checkin before lunch. So took the time to do some survey. Went to seymayank Plaza and the nearby shopping, just to get a feel of the vibe of the city. After which took another cab to try to locate imperial spa, which relate to Ahguan (which I guess is also a samster) locate it and went n to have a look. As it was in the afternoon, there wasn't much to see. So I left.

I did not have the intention to start on the first day as I still have some prepn work to do at work. So stay in the hotel to finish up after dinner. The interesting bits can unexpectedly.
