Actually, I may beg to differ, on one count. Having been all over PH except the dreaded south, and, seriously, I believe the hooker population in Manila alone, I mean the nearly full time hooker population, would easily outnumber AC by a factor of 2. I may be wrong there though ..

Then again, for Cebu, part of the reason the local population have been getting agitated, from what i know, is some of the Expats busy flaunting their collections and going about like all things local are their's to enjoy

I would say, if people were playing slowly, maybe thngs won't be so bad ligthed .. after all, even recently, accidentally a well, known PH politician from north side of Luzon was telling me that he always have a 'whale of a time' in AC. I could only feign ignorance and smile like an idiot than ask his opinion on the recent cleanups .. when he went on to say that AC is a pussy haven -in the sense that he can bring along his foreign guests there ..

The rich, famous and powerful have their own playgrounds in AC..... they do not patronize the fields ave or perimeter bars. Many years ago I had a project with a pinoy client..... upon successful completion of the project my client brought me to "celebrate" with his boss telling me his boss likes young girls and hard liquor. I was thinking we will be celebrating in fields ave but I was wrong. He brought me to a place about 20 mins drive away from fields ave...... on the outside it looks like an office building but when we took the lift up to the top floor..... it was one of the classiest joints I've ever been to in the PI. The girls there were all 9s & 10s and everyone of them looked under 20 yrs to me....... the best part was the girls took turns to perform on stage and they will strip fully naked after their performance...... and the audience would bid for the girls to come to their tables. :p

Later that night as we were leaving the place..... I was told by my client that they would never go to the bars in fields ave or perimeter as those places are for the working class people.

Past few days is always sudden sunny n sudden very heavy rain.
Luckily the maingate jeepney i took today during rain went into the airport n drop passengers off.

Just took the out flight at Clark airport in the evening, just wanna relate an incident which happened at the 2nd x-ray m/c after passport chopped.
As usual i put my sling bag, passport n a packet of food through the m/c n stand for searching by one of the officers.
He sensed something in my short's pocket n asked me wat is it?
I took out the 50p note (which is change from terminal fee) out from my pocket n he smiled n said "xie xie" in mandarin.
I just act blurred n proceeded to collect my things which is on trays after the m/c.
As i collected my things there was a pen left on the tray which another officer asked me wat is that? I said it's not mine.
He took up the pen pull out the cover n it became a knife w a 3 inch blade n he asked me: U use this?
I looked at him calmly for a few seconds n he started to say it's just a joke.
I smiled at him n left.

Maybe i consider myself lucky a narrow escaped.
If I had panic or reacted angrily the situation might be worse.


Another incident a week ago is when i played pool at one of the bars, 3 pinoys came in n play too. I was on n winning streak n one of the pinoys after losing a game to me said he wanted to bet 50p w me on his next game w me but i told him i don't do bettings, just friendly game.
After some games i decided to leave n the pinoy who wanted a bet was persuading to stay but i declined n left.
After taking supper near the bar, i run into the bar manager n he told me there is 3 police inside the bar n i confirmed w him it's them.
So i wonder what will happen if i had taken the bet??

I hv also witness few pinoy hustlers who purposely plays badly, lost n then lure the opponent for a bet like 1000p.


Just caution bros here to take precaution that they play such "jokes" n "bets".

Thanks Datou for sharing. The pen becoming a knife joke is scary. Can't believe an airport security officer were to do this. If Singapore, he'd get fired if anyone complained.

Regards your story while playing pool, an incident happened on Fields in front of me, my very eyes, while eating breakfast at Kokomos. An Aussie guy was approached by a guy selling glasses. He asked him to try it on. I saw him trying a pair of sunglasses. Then he tried another one. In the meantime a guy approached him to push viagra. He rejected him and he said a few unhappy words as he left. A while later, the guy came and sat a shot distance away from me with a panicked face, teary eyes and frantically calling someone. Another person asked him as to what happened. He said his wallet is missing with close to 600 Aussie dollars and 4000 Pesos and a few credit cards and his identification. I can't figure out who flicked his wallet. Either the viagra or the sunglasses vendor. Such things also happen in Fields :eek:

Any update on the guy charged for human trafficking for paying barfine to a girl ? Is he still under arrest ? Is the US consulate helping in his release? Anyone else caught for the same thing in any other bar in AC?
