Re: My lovely SG girls
Apartment hunting, as I’d mentioned earlier, took a fair bit of time and effort. I have to admire my agent’s patience and diligence. He showed me over 50 units before I made my choice. On the one hand I wanted all the conveniences of a good condominium - swimming pool, gym, outdoor space and good upkeep. On the other, I wanted total privacy and discretion. When you are at my level, a lot of people know you - and tongues are always ready to wag with gossip. I was in Singapore without a wife, my marriage was over, there were plenty of lovely women around and I sure as hell wasn’t going to stay celibate. I also did not want news of my activities being carried back to India by my wife’s nosy friends in Singapore, who would love to tell everyone what a depraved person I’d become.
Well, I found my perfect apartment in the end. Private lobby, low rise, minimum interaction with neighbours unless I went to the pool on Sunday, and a few minutes from that favourite expat hangout - Tanglin Mall! I could bring someone into the building and whisk her into my apartment with very little chance of being seen. And the big bonus - no one I even remotely knew lived there. Well dear readers, I had my job and found my perfect apartment. Now time to turn my attentions to other matters :D |

Known reputation of loud cannons with slippery snakes from a particular place but a complete disappointment in real life thus the importance of getting rid of them over a cobra. But that's why they are entertaining. Go on, amuse us... lol.

Re: My lovely SG girls
How does a newbie in a foreign country find female company ? The obvious starting point is pay and play. I visited OT, which is close to where I stay and has a decent selection of girls. In my first month I slept with girls from pretty much every country in South-east Asia!
I also went to a few KTVs. They were fun, and in what was then called Las Vegas I met a charming PRC girl who I saw a few times until her visa ran out. My last date with her was free of charge, and she even shed a few tears. Thankfully I didn’t get taken in by all that. As the great Sammy Boy says in his advice on this forum, a whore is a whore is a whore, and is to be fucked and not loved! But this is not what I’m here to write about! Sorry to diverge from the topic! All this philandering couldn’t keep a man of my sophistication and intelligence satisfied for very long. I felt the need for companionship, not just casual sex, and I was also a little embarrassed at the thought that I was spending my time picking up hookers. I needed a girlfriend! In the meanwhile I was observing the social scene in Singapore. I was socialising a few times a week with work colleagues, business associates and other people I knew - a good mix including Singaporeans, Caucasians, Indians and other Asians. We mostly hung around the usual expat areas - Dempsey, the MBS restaurants and the bar at the Regent were favourites, but we went all over town. It didn’t take long to realise that Singaporean girls had something special to offer - certainly the kind of girls I met. They had style, were independent, were well travelled and knowledgeable, and had a taste for good things. They were great to talk to - my first language is English, and it was enjoyable to communicate with Singaporeans who spoke the language well. At the same time the SG girls had Asian values and made a good effort to keep their partner happy. Some of you may have had other experiences, and might laugh at my ‘naivety’, but I stand by this view. Caucasian girls didn’t excite me all, and Indian girls tend to get serious far too soon for my liking. As with most men, I get nervous when women start talking of commitment. The most terrifying question a girl can ask me is “Where do we go from here ?” 😬. Having just ended one relationship, I wasn’t interested in going from the frying pan to the fire. With those thoughts in mind, dear Bros, I decided to go and get myself a Singaporean girlfriend. Thus began “Operation SG” :D |
