I guess it's a group of ang mohs with vested AC interests joining SBF at same time in June 2013. Business and visitor arrivals went down to bad. They come in to reduce our travel to AC trip cancellations. Tough job for them, considering our KIASU and cautious attitude. Cheongsters from Sg n My are known to be big spenders during their trips.

This group of ang mohs may be junior in SBF join date, but they have connections. Which explains their points. BUT they are super SENIORS when it comes to AC knowledge and up to date info. Not forgetting great wisdom in dealing with being in AC.

The "tone" is where the problem starts. Some of us are not used to the words used in their posts. They mean no offense. It's their style. We need to try to adjust or be more chin chye.

I think its silly to be the front man in such business activity. My friend was burned for the same reason. When in for 6 months. Now only stay in Thailand nothing left here.

re: bars, and girlie pubs, I got that lesson 10 years ago .. all is not as cut and clean in 'bar' business ..though initially it was super attractive ..

And .. now I prefer to be a customer than be a partner .. :)

For businesses, you need a local partner, though there are other options too now ..

Considering the chaotic situation in AC presently it makes more sense to party in Manila than in AC for now. Why take unnecessary risks with the authorities when all you want is just to party? :)

The airline staff told me to change destination to Ilollo :) I was glad I took their advice. Ilollo is a nice getaway place to relax and recharge.

I agree with bro bielsa view..... what you say may be true some time ago...... but with the recent price increases it makes not much difference whether it is Manila or AC now. But with the harassment going on in AC at present ....... I prefer to stay away and play in other playgrounds. :D

BTW, Manila isn't so safe, per se .. of late, a few KTVs have been 'visited' by the people on the hunt for under age girls .. that's how it starts, before they move to human trafficking ... ;)

Maybe they are testing the waters on how much they can 'make' by threats .. ;)

As I have never took girls in Manila before, may I know how much is the EWR for a LT bar girl in Manila ? At AC, LT pays Php 1800 - Php 3000 the most, daddy girl may go up to Php 4100. Will Manila's bar fine comparable ?
And talking about the harassment topic, as mentioned in my previous post, 5 of us enjoy our time in AC without any problem, except one incident by a greedy waitress.
