Best then to confirm drop off point and price before taking the taxi. For me, I will opt for drop off at Phillies and do some window shopping walking towards Paradise Garden or wherever your hotel is.

This is becoming more common now and not just in AC. Had a few people I know got hit with skimmers at ATM s in Manila. Last year in AC there was reports of skimmers being used at the Phil. Isle banks on MaCarth.
Best advise is always check the ATM before using and try to only use the ones attach to a bank and use when bank is open.

I just booked a trip two days ago. Or actually, it will be more like a tour taking me to several places for about 2 months, lol.

I will be in the philippines and most likely in Angeles from the 16th to the 28th november. May check out Subic Bay too, or Manila (I have a girl or I know there who chat me up a bit). But at least for a week I will be back in Angeles. So feel free to pm me if you book a trip for mid/late november any time soon. I know it is still far off, but I'll just let the post stay here and some may catch up on it.

I went to subic in may. stayed at the Suzuki hotel. small room and hard bed. but close the action and is steps away from the beach. water did not seem that nice tho.

its mostly down 1 road and like 1 or 2 bars per street. very spread out not compact like angeles. if you stay near the nice resorts near the beaches you will need to trike or have a cab drive you to the action.

much cheaper than AC every is 1500 peso. lot less girls. 10-20 a bar maybe. mostly 5-7 looks wise.

I think lollipop had the best bar. good air condition and better condition than other bars. girls were better looking than other ones in my opinion. angelwich is also pretty good.

voodoo and sweethearts are open in the afternoon at like 3. others open at like 5 or 6 if I remember correctly. cant remember when they close but I thnk around 12am. voodoo stays open a little bit later than that as long as there are customers.
