I have used a numbers of money changers at Fields Avenue/Walking street (quite a numbers of them around) and, so far as I know, the best rates given is the one (don't remember name) next to High Society.
It's tiny office, but the rates given is highest that I have come across anywhere in that area. |

Yes it has the highest rates in Fields Ave for certain currencies like USD, £, A$, Euros. As you can see they do more of the angmo business. For S$ it is still acceptable to change with them as the rate is reasonable but of course you can get better rates further down fields nearer to checkpoint. |
Re: NEW ANGELES CITY (Pampanga, Balibago, Subic and anywhere else in PI)
Breaking news !!
RAID in progress at Nemesis (formerly Genesis)..... 6 jeepneys fully loaded with girls are brought back. Also brought back are 2 Korean men (not sure why they were detained but rumours are they did not have any identification with them). This latest raid signals a wind of change as previously Korean owned bars are left alone. It looks like they are starting to target the Koreans now. A reminder to all to please carry some form of identification with you at all times. NBI regulation states any foreigner without identification is guilty of an offence punishable by up to 3 years jail and 100,000p fine. :) |

Re: NEW ANGELES CITY (Pampanga, Balibago, Subic and anywhere else in PI)
Hi bros. Im going for my virgin trip to AC this april. Just wanted to ask is it advisable to go solo as im planning to go alone. Also, can anyone recommend a good hotel for a newbie like me ? I was thinking Pacific Breeze ? Lastly, will there be raids in april ? Apologies for the many questions, any advise is greatly appreciated. Cheers
