Leaving AC Jan 9 for my AirAsia flight back to Sg connecting in KL. Both flights AA. Wish me luck.

Is it cheaper to fly via KL on AA than to fly direct? I have come across a few of my passengers who did the same thing.

PS, you wear Life Jacket in flight ? sure you didn't mean Rain Coat :p

Joke lah. But i think they might close an eye if I took the life jacket from under the seat and wear it for the flight.

Not only price but also time spent travelling. Dec 16 > Jan 10 are super peak periods. One way Clk/Sg can cost up to $600. Cheaper to connect through KL for this date.

:D I haven't been on AA recently, but in PR, they repeatedly announce that it Is illegal to take blankets and life vests :D That is normal in PH I guess, like repeatedly telling people "huwag magtapon ng basura ditto" even though it is common sense !!!

I have made it a habit to check under my seat for the life vest, in PAL flights, so far, there was 'something' there.. always !! but if that was a life vest or something else, I never know !!

in fact, MH via KL works out cheaper than Direct SIN-MNL, and if you are a seasoned traveler, all the fear of Malaysian being unsafe etc are just bull shit ..

any airline can have such drama.

I will route via KL, if I have spare days, for transit ! Especially if you travel light !

Ah, light travel, time to fill my Jolly B Box and ship out before going to PH soon

Its COLD out there. I guess about 16 degrees C. Tried to go for a walk. Felt the chill on my face. Ran into JJ for warmth. Trike drivers and locals in the street are all covered up. Some standing round bonfires to keep warm. Much as I get irritated by the street beggars, I pity them suffering, sleeping on the street.

Anyone coming AC advised to bring jacket. Long sleeve shirt.

Tight Jeans

Was shocked when I went in and there were ZERO customers  Wasn’t that impressed with the line-up and had half a mind to walk back out but I had borrowed the CR so thought I’d better buy a drink.

During the whole time I was there, I was the only customer. Some guys came in and looked around, then left.

Now the bar has closed down and the dancers have moved to its sister bar After School on Perimeter.

Weather

It does get nippy late at nite, but it’s still warm and sunny during the day. U’ll sweat getting a suntan. So bring ur swimming trunks and shorts :)

Crazy House

There’s sporadic activity at this closed bar between Bunny Ranch and Brown Sugar. There are 2 Crazy House signs but dunno if they’re left over from the previous bar or are there for the bar that’s going to open.

If it is going to be Crazy House, u can bet that they won’t be able to repeat the successful format at the bar of that same name near Soi Cowboy!

Insomnia

Some nice eye candy here. Among the regular dancers, there’s Aiza, supposedly 1 of 3 girls of that name on Fields, and (Maria?) Anita. Anita is nice and slim but she gets called down before even finishing 1 set of dancing.

Among the Insomnia Babes, there’s a super-hot girl. Dunno her name, but u can’t miss her as she’s the tallest of the bunch. She’s also super popular. She and Anita look very different. Think I prefer the Anita type.

Best to hit the bar during HH from 7-8 if u want to see all the girls.

Note – the waitresses here are very pushy about tips.
