bro we met before? infact yeah more of less the same, 3000 and 2500 over at walking st. but dont think you will find anymore 2000. infact over at perimeter, prices slightly increased but mostly still within 1.5-2k. those short time bars are now 800 instead of 600-700 3 yrs ago.

Bro Gem08, perhaps we ever met before..hehe. I'm malay guy anyway and the first time i was there was 7 years ago. I did know this place through youtube and curious about it and make a visit alone and when i came back and show to my friends the videos i took, they got interested and later i brought them there and they really like the place. I will be there again on this May 2016 and i hope we can meet if u happen to be there. Btw has anyone stay at at the PAD ?

pls update me the SGD>>PHP exchange rate at Balibago when you are there. I will like to compare the cash exchange rate at Balibago and the remittance rate offer at Lucky Plaza by iRemit or PNB.

Bro, try DBS Remit.

It is zero $ for remittance and exchange rate is not that bad. It is about 33.67.

In LP it may be 33.80 or so I think, based on my personal trend monitoring :D I can post the rate later ;)

In Jurong, there should be Pay2Home, but their exchange rate sucks, and .. they do charge a bigger service fee. They are good only for small amounts that need to be remitted urgently.

Good inhouse restaurant
Hotel is girl-friendly
very quiet location
Hotel staff are friendly & helpful
Hotel has inhouse SUV...can request for drop-off at Fields (a tip to the driver is good manners)
Room rate is 2,800P; breakfast included (which can be served in room)
Free airport pick-up and drop-off (savings of 400Px2)
Less than 10min stroll to Perimeter bars which start opening about 1pm
2 massage parlours nearby - on the way towards Perimeter bars

Cons -

Out of walking range to Fields
No money changers nearby
no late-night food joints nearby
No fridge in room
bed has low wooden skirting which can be an annoyance
No smoking in the rooms
