I heard about this AFTER i stayed in that room one trip... for 3 nights. Did not experience any outta-this-world experience...at least not the ghostly type!

However, now that i hv heard this a few times from several sources, wont be staying there anymore :D

Swiss Chalet used to be my regular stay before the new hotels came up.... I dun think they let anyone stay in this room even when fully booked..... unless that guest is a regular and tells them he is aware of the history of the room and dun mind staying there.

Since we're talking about the supernatural..... bros who are interested might want to try the old disused hospital inside Clark Airbase..... I had the opportunity to accompany a paranormal team on one of their exploration trips and monitoring equipment was set up during the day in several locations around the hospital premises.

Hours later when darkness fell we went back the the hospital to have a look.... while most of the equipment were quiet and normal..... the one placed at the basement was reacting furiously indicating strong paranormal activity there.

Some months later when I was watching the documentary Ghosts Asia on cable and in one episode they featured the disused hospital in Clark..... and I realized the location that their paranormal investigative team discovered to have strong supernatural activity was the exact same location of the basement which we had staked out months earlier. :)

Another interesting location is in western part of Clark Airbase at the former barracks where the Japanese Air Force pilots lived..... all of them were Kamikaze pilots and most of them did not return from their flights. That barrack has been turned into a museum and some "lucky" visitors have claimed to have heard or seen the spirits of the pilots inside the museum. :)

If I am not wrong, the first Kamikaze flights were flown from Luzon when the Americans initiated the Battle Off Samar / Battle of the tin cans.

No need to go until so far. Here in Singapore we also have the Old Changi Hospital in Changi Village. Favourite place for many ghostbusters wannabes.

I have taken tour to this tourist attraction before. Dun waste your time and money to go there. Just an old derelict building with some Japanese memorabilia and uniforms with the Filipina tour guide spinning stories about the lives of the occupants. Halfway into the tour while we were inside the building suddenly faint sounds of soldiers marching and drill commands wafted across from the parade square outside. The tour guide try to fool us by telling us the ghosts are having a parade. Me and a couple of other guys were skeptical and made our way outside to the parade ground. It was empty and we could not see anyone else there but there were definitely sounds of parade coming from that location. We tried to zero in on the source of the sounds and bingo! we found it. It was a recording coming out from a box built into the base of the flagpole :D
Apparently an attempt by the museum to con those tourists. :D

Luzon is the largest island in the Philippines archipelago and Manila and Clark Airbase are situated on it.
