Yeah these days i too keep running into gals who are either damm introverted or simply just don't wanna talk even if you took the initiative to engage them, last time i would try to think of topics that would interest them and try to get them to talk to prevent that awkward silence(which i usually succeed) but nowadays i just can't be bothered, if they don't wanna talk or if i sense a general disinterest like 1 liner replies then so be it, it's a 2 way street, can't expect us as paying customers to constantly rack our brains to get them to open up when in actual fact they should be the ones who should be engaging us and making us feel at home/comfy..sometimes i feel like some of them really forget that they're in the customer service industry.
