Hotel self check in kiosks
 
Anyone knows about such kiosks in local hotels? Supposedly it’s linked with ICA
Those foreigners brought to hotels by different men will Kena 10 fingerprints upon exit.
Anyway to find out which hotels have them?

The other day while having Dim sum at Dxx Sxx Haus along VEERASAMY road, saw a Coliving Hotel , that only have self checkin. Didn’t see any hotel staffs, u may wanna try that .

No such things. Hotel records are to be kept confidential unless local authorities request for it. Watever check in, cctv recording is kept internally. Hotel also bound by PDPA. Hotels have their own operating license too. As for unregistered hotel guests, it’s actually for safety reasons. Insurance claim, fire safety related matters. Tracetogether or safeentry is diff, managed by govt. So govt keep the data.

If there's no staff ard to check who is registered. So who is stopping you to only register 1 name?

Yes i do notice alot of cameras around the lobby area, and you are probably right about the random checks as i have seen it happen to others as well
