So dun mind me asking if anybody has tried grabtaxi from NAIA to AC. My 2 buddies lazy to take bus like me. Someone mentioned Uber with rate less than 1000 peso. If grabtaxi is similar it would be a huge saving from those taxi sharks outside thee terminal.

Share my experience with Uber from Manila to the Holiday Inn inside Clark.... I use Uber discount voucher and the trip was charge to my credit card for 1000p.
When the driver picked us up he insist that we load our suitcases into the boot. Trouble began shortly through the journey as the driver claim the Uber fare does not include petrol so he pull into petrol station to top up 700p and insist we pay for it. Upon reaching our destination, he asked for 500p "tips" saying Uber does not pay him until next week and he needs money to eat & pay rental for the car.
We refused to pay and he refused to open the boot to let us get out suitcases. Despite contacting Uber to resolve the matter, the Uber staff on the line reply that it is the custom in Phillippines to tip the drivers and ask us to give some money to the driver.
Finally the hotel concierge help us resolve the matter ask the driver to give us our luggage in return for reduced "tips" of 300p.
So my 1000p Uber ride ended up costing 2000p and we get labeled as kuripots as well.
