-- Vietnam’s consistent policy is to attach importance to developing relations with Japan, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said as he received newly-appointed Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Kunio Umeda in Hanoi on Friday.

-- A welcome ceremony was held Friday at Ho Chi Minh City’s Cat Lai Port for the 43rd Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Programme (SSEAYP), which is on a four-day visit to the southern metropolis.
