I was telling 1 kaki of mine recently (he know who is he hor if he happens to be reading this....
) about the pyramid syndrome, normally if 1 person share with only 2 or 3 persons he will say nevermind lah it is only 2 or 3 persons what harm can it get, but he forgotten that 2 or 3 persons will share with another 2 or 3 persons EACH, and then the multiplier effect goes on like a big Ponzi or pyramid scheme......think everybody get the picture
I am definitely not against sharing as or else how could we find out new joints (other than directly exploring it ourselves as we do it all the time) but more on careful "selective" sharing instead of exposing it out openly on the WWW, it is guaranteed either to kill off the joint in no time, or that prices will go up exponentially & availability goes south due to over-popularity
Just last month we went to one regular joint of ours (only opened for 1 year plus) as we had not been there for about 3 months then we practically had to wait at the lobby for more than 1 hour for the room to be available and that is when we had already made a prior reservation
