When I was there 1/2 a year ago, I played golf a few times at the course near the Holiday Inn Clarkview. The course is fairly expensive if you don't stay at the Holiday Inn. Maybe $100+ SGD per round including all fees. Also, it is difficult to make a reservation since you aren't a member there. Staying at the Holiday Inn makes you a 'Member's Guest' so it is slightly cheaper and you can book tee times. I'd advise staying at the Holiday Inn though since it is away from the action and fairly expensive for what you get.
Getting to the course is a 15 minute scooter ride from the main action. I rented a scooter and just rode it back and forth with my golf bag on my back.
There are some other courses as well, but I think they are in pretty bad shape and further away as well. I think golfing is better near Pattaya.
