what i heard is that election is coming in april and that the govt need to raid to appease the extremist muslim.
in addition, they are also trying to put a stop to the customs allowing in alcohol whose duty is not paid. the customs are also eating "coffee $"
perhaps times are bad and the govt need more revenue to carry out some form of fiscal policies .
the raid could be a signal to those spa owners to pay their dues to the relevant govt agencies.
i understand from reports that in the next 2 weeks, should have more raids happening. but around xmas period should more or less close shop.

i only scare of traffic jam in jkt. ususally stay indoor during 5-8pm..
