Just tell the chef to make it a bit spicy or they will make it bland, but it is much better than the sweet filipino meals .. that is apart from the western food

Once common dish I found palatable in Philippines, in most places, is Green Chicken Curry Rice - sort of like the Thai fare - ask .. and you may find it ..
