Tears fall from my eyes to read your experiences. Especially when better preparation and help from us could have prevented it. You suffered much psychologically but I feel the pain even with the money part.
I know I have been deemed "chong hay" when I share experiences with brothers that I meet and maybe even in my posts. But it HURTS poor man like me when such things happens. Does not matter whose money it is.
Remember: "When in AC, we are always eyed and targetted." Be SAFE...... Easier said then done. Hahaha.
