Covid 19 brought me down

I used to have a good job but since economy downturn and covid 19 hit, it was a perfect storm for me.

Been looking for work after being retrenched last year but having no luck. Savings depleted, costs running monthly.

Wondering if bros have any advice.

I resort to deliver food by bicycle. Tiring but still secure $170+/- for 10hours ride.

TS, if you are not picky, you can find a job for sure. If you want to really make some decent monies and strive for career success, then my two cents worth: I always encourage ppl to work overseas for a proper job that you both want and can do...

Maybe pay you more due to the higher risks. Plus wearing the PPE all day is uncomfortable.

How about those Safe Distance Ambassador? Or do what many wish they had done last year... which is to work in Sheng Siong. How about checking for tracetogether at malls? Just trying to think of all the Essential Worker jobs.

I think the logistics industry is good. Not just for covid but I think the demand for workers will be there after covid too. Plus it is relevant working experience if you wish to quit and join a competitor. I saw a news program where a local singapore tour agency went into logistics during this covid period.
