I recently went to Dalian on business and stayed at East Hotel. From memory I only saw 2 other major hotels there on the new development zone, Kerren and one at the corner with mini Eiffel Tower, can't remember the name.

Across the road from East Hotel is a "Entertainment District". Quite colorful, you can't mis it. Quite a few hanky panky KTVs (as well as Japanese non-hanky panky ones) also quite a few restaurants and a skating ring. Spotted 3 girls with uniforms and their bikes giving me the eye. That was pretty much the only borderline street action I saw, otherwise all of them are inside KTV. Also quite a lot of ST rooms for rent in the area.

It was not until my last night there that I learned about BBS (barbershop) in my hotel (just past the reception). The girl was not that good looking so I did not partake, but I remember the night before another girl was ok.

Saw street vendors selling meat on stick like satay, but also saw chicken heads on a stick, which I had never seen before. Plenty of sex toys sold at the larger pharmacies, not sure if this is common in China. Tadalifil and Sildenifil easily available at pharmacies without presription.
