I went to the 3rd floor for massage about 2 weeks ago. The masseue , a sweet young divorcee in her 20's told me the shop will close in 5 days time as Pearl Centre management want to take back the shop. All TN shops will be closed gradually.Ask for her contact number but she refuses to give.Instead she ask for my contact number.She didn't call me , so i went back on the 5th day to find her. Unfortunately , I 'm too late. The shop was empty when i reach there at 8pm.

Bro... My OC works at pearl center and everytime when i send her to work, it aint like the Olden day Pearl Centre.

dun think so pearl centre going to be new geylang.
the former KI health center gone, now under renovation. dun know wat they building. always go to the singapore pool there. pass by one tuina, never try.
was there yesterday lunch time lots of massage place all gone.
place looks dead compare to last time.

most of the massage places seem to be under renovation, only saw 2 joints,
1 at level 4 near the cinema and 1 more at level 2 near BK.
dunno if new joints will appear soon?

news from the security head, they want to turn the whole place into something like bugis street, with lots of people selling all those weird stuff for tourist, handphones and clothing.

Started with the revamp of the basement level, then they will slowly move up and revamp the entire perl center.

so i guess it wont turn into another geylang... maybe another BUGIS Street.

most of the TN i know have since moved into the chinatown area (temple st, mosque st, pagoda st) they are usually on the 2nd or 3rd floor. Beware of those that are tourist traps.
