Do not bring the hotel key out. always return to the reception
Do not bring more money in the pocket , only 200rmb max
Do not bring new handphone

以下事情是我朋友真人真事:

話說我的朋友C， 上星期坐朋友A的順風車由虎門到CP， 準備轉火車回港， 由於司機不熟路關係， 所以到CP後就下車， 自己轉的士到火車站。

在朋友C上了的士後(是東莞藍的)， 的士就往火車站方向行駛， 沒多久就開始轉到橫街小巷， 朋友C也發覺不對勁， 很快車已停下來， 而且也有兩條大陸佬走出來拉朋友C下車， 並將他帶到一間房間。

據朋友C說， 他進房間已見到有兩個馬來西亞人已在裡面， 那些大陸人就將朋友C按在地上， 將錢、信用卡及提款卡從銀包拿出來， 先將朋友C毒打一頓， 並要朋友C說出密碼， 可能由於太恐慌關係， 朋友C只想起提款卡密碼， 而那些大陸佬就用五馬分屍方式拉朋友C的手、腳， 其中一個大陸佬就拿著鐵搥說還不說就打你的手， 這時候朋友C已怕得不得了， 說時遲那時快， 那大陸佬就往朋友C手打去， 還好他只是打在地上， 但朋友C已嚇得尿也出來了， 最後也將所有密碼也說出來了。

那些大陸佬提款後也將朋友C放走， 而且沒有拿走朋友C的電話， 朋友C放出後馬上打電話叫朋友B接他回來香港， 現他正在養傷中， 但他已說以後也不回大陸了。

知道朋友C此事後， 想起月初時在火車站上了的士去中元街， 途中那車走的路跟平時不一樣， 只往橫街小巷走， 而且也在一條小巷停下來， 那時自己有點怕， 還好那司機說了句走錯路了， 然後很快就退出來往大路走， 並安全到達目的地， 現在回想不知那時其實是不是也上了"黑的"呢？

最後提醒到CP各C HING， 如一個人到CP坐車真的要小心小心。

Be careful of pickpockets. Avoid contact with beggars and children. Tell them to fuck off loudly if they hustle aggressively or get too close.

These kind of crimes happen often in Dongguan, Shenzhen and Zhuhai. Look at the no. of crime reports posted in the various China threads. Even happened to some samsters here. It's very real. Not like those half baked SPF Crime Watch stories. I myself got pickpocketed of S$900.00 in Zhuhai some months back. Big lesson learned.

When I see groups of obnoxious Singaporeans yakking away loudly in foreign airports, public places, etc. I just shake my head because it's a recipe for disaster. Obvious targets for criminals who prey on foreigners. Always ready to hunt you down. I travel alone mostly so I'm always on high alert when outdoors. Avoid conversations with strangers unless necessary.

Be careful of child pickpockets hanging along Zhuhai's LHL 步行街 . You've been warned!

Generally OK but I would not say you strictly do not follow anyone. Depends. If you have a larger group with you then your risk is reduced (not eliminated)

You may also need to bring more than 200 rmb out with you when you go KTV right?

Just be careful
