yes it has no effect on the rep power, however u still need a min number of post before the rep power kicks in.

what that sentence basically means is that one does not get additional rep power when they hit a certain number of post. Members use to get 1 additional rep power with every 1000 post if i remember correctly.

10 post will usually get you the rep power..

Also can only get power when reputation = 40 pts (minimum) - independent of number of posts. Eg posts = 1,000; rep pts = 10; no power !! One of the advantages of joining Premium Membership!! Contribute/post a few more to get power. Cheers.

PS - Basically Pts = 40 minimum; Meaningful posts > 10 to get power.

use your rep power to award and deduct points from other samsters.
award rep points to samsters with constructive post.
for more info on how it works, read the first post of this thread.

Yes it is still in effect. Nothing has changed.

no change to that, however u will need to achieve the required number of points(40) to get the rep power. work on it mate, you aint too far .. you will get a good 7/8 rep power once u hit 40 rep points

Dear Bros,

I seem to have a problem trying to UP some bros for contacts of FL given to me.

I understand i am suppose to go to the rep points > click > approve/disapprove for the point system. It does not reflect that for me.

Is it because i am still under moderation or do i have to friend that person first? Also i understand the 2 days limit which i tried on a new post as well and doesnt work - what am i doing wrong?

click on my signature and read the newbie helpline to know how to "up "another members. Also note that you cannot add post which are in the soccer/newbie section, as well as those post which are 48 hours ago.

After reading through the post, I realized that I'll need to have at least 40 points in order to gain power.

May I know what are the ways to gain points other then being up by other members?
