Personally if I long stay in Nimanhemin Road, Chiang Mai confirm save money.
Stay in Bangkok sure bankrupt because too many temptations such as Soapy Massage Parlours and G-Clubs!

Now surfing the net for Nimanhemin Real Estate and see what I can find.

Very soon this thread must rename to "Chiang Mai Property"!

On a serious note Chiang Mai real estate not top priority for me.
Unless have windfall still can consider.

You try to check it out Nimmana condo. Soi 6 niman. now only can dream of owning one unit there.

HM, TC. Back in 2010-2011, my Lampang ex tried to pull my ears on real estate's increasing interests in north. On land, was told far sighted investors were looking at places outside CNX with lower and more attractive land prices.

Niman soi 6 is prime, passed there every day (often in 2013)...looked wistfully at condo posters. On rural end living, Mae Rim is great. Last CNX ex had 2 country homes, with great fengshui. And her mom had sizeable farm lands at her disposal. Even financed her 4 storey spa at Moon Mueang spot. My photobucket's not co-operating now, maybe post pic later so you get idea. Good living country, near resorts.... BUT far away from your 7

Off Niman soi 6, one room unit rental was 5-6k (short term) -but that's Niman pricing. Location -walking distance to Niman Mai hotel, and pak soi. And also jalan to Maldives, Infinity (too close for comfort?)

In short everything you can find at niman, and with new shopping centre MAYA, matter of time before the rent can goes up easily 8-10k ฿.

Yup, it's walkable to Maya, warm up, monkey, infinity, Maldives.
